Tibet Tour from Netherlands

Do not forget to get your passport ready for the application for a China visa. Although Dutch citizen enjoys visa-free policy to many places in China, Tibet is not one of them. Dutch tourists need to apply for a China visa first, and then use the China visa to apply for a Tibet Entry Permit. Normally it takes four working days and costs 33 Euro for a single-entry visa. If you spend extra 25 Euro, it is possible for get a China visa in 3 working days, and 33 Euro in 2 working days.

Fly to China from Netherlands

Currently, there are flights from Amsterdam to 6 cities in China. These cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Hangzhou. Although China Eastern Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Air France, China Southern Airlines, KLM and Cathay Pacific operate most flights to China from Netherland, the lowest-price flight supplier is the Turkish Airlines. It is possible to spend 353 USD to fly to Hong Kong from Amsterdam with the Turkish Airlines, but there is a stopover in Istanbul. So, it takes passenger 20 to 35 hours for the flight.

There is also cheap flight from Amsterdam to Shanghai, operated by China Southern Airlines, which costs only 355 USD.
