Mexican Citizen need to go to the consular section of China embassy in Mexico to apply for a China visa. The address of the consular section is Av. Río Magdalena 172, Colonia Tizapán - San Ángel; Delegation Álvaro Obregón, CP 01090; Mexico DF. The open time of the window service of the consular section is between 9:00 and 13:00 (Monday to Friday).

It is suggested to call the consular section before going to their office to submit your application. Their numbers are (0052-55) 56164324, 56164309, 56164239. The working time for phone service is between 16:00 and 18:00 (Monday to Friday).

Both the window and phone services are unavailable during public holidays. However, you could send Email to them. The email address is consularchinaenmexico88@gmail.com. There is currently no email address end with official suffix for China embassy in Mexico.

You still need to ask a local travel agency in Tibet to apply for a Tibet Entry Permit for you after getting China visa.

How to Fly from Mexico to Tibet

Tourists from Mexico are recommended to fly from Mexico City to Beijing. The cheapest flights costs only around 380 USD. Both flights and trains from Beijing to Lhasa are easy to book. There are no direct flights from Mexico to Tibet.
