Fuzhou is the capital and one of the largest cities in Fujian province, China. Fuzhou in Chinese means "a city with good luck." Fuzhou lies on the north (left) bank of the estuary of Fujian's largest river, the Min River. All along its northern border lies Ningde, and Ningde's Gutian County lies upriver. In 2015, Fuzhou was ranked as the 10th Fastest Growing Metropolitan Areas in the world by Brookings Institution. Fuzhou is listed as No.20 in China Integrated City Index 2016's total ranking, a study conducted by National Development and Reform Commission.
It is more convenient to take plane from Fuzhou to Tibet.

Fuzhou Changle International Airport
Fuzhou Changle International Airport (IATA: FOC, ICAO: ZSFZ) is an international airport serving Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province, China. The airport was inaugurated on June 23, 1997, after being approved to start constructing in 1992. The current handling capacity is approximately 6.5 million people annually.
The airport is located near the shore of the Taiwan Strait in Zhanggang Subdistrict, Changle, about 50 km (31 mi) east of Fuzhou's city center.

There is a taxi waiting at the exit of the arrival hall. The city's unified price starts at 10 yuan / 3 kilometers, and over 3 kilometers per kilometer is 2 yuan.
Bus
The airport passenger terminal has a number of fixed shuttle routes to Fuzhou City and surrounding areas, opening hours from 4:30-22:30.
Highway
There are many expressways that can directly reach Changle International Airport, such as Shenhai Expressway, Fuyin Expressway, and Airport Expressway.
Subway
According to the newly released intercity railway construction plan for the west coast of Fujian Province, the Fuzhou-Changle Airport Intercity Railway (F1/3) will be directly connected to the airport, and will be passed by Metro Line 6 near the airport.
Lhasa Gonggar Airport:
Lhasa Gonggar Airport (IATA: LXA, ICAO: ZULS) is in Jiazhulin Town in Gonggar County, Shannan District, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located on the south bank of the magnificent Yalu Tsangpo River at an altitude of 3,600 meters. It is one of the highest civil airports in the world. The Gonggar Airport covers a smaller area and operates fewer flights than most airports in the world. And there is only one terminal building with one entrance and one exit in the Gongga Airport. The shuttle bus, bound for the Civil Aviation Bureau at the foot of the Potala Palace, is parked only 5 meters from the exit. The ticket fare is only 30 yuan.
