Day1  Arrive in Lhasa Sincere greetings & airport-hotel transfer.
You will arrive at the Gonggar Airport and be greeted by your tour guide. Then you will be driven to Lhasa and have a rest at your hotel in the afternoon.

Accommodation：Lhasa Economic / Comfortable Standard Hotel (Twin sharing)

Day2  Lhasa Sightseeing Jokhang Temple, Tibetan Carpet Factory, Tibetan Traditional Hospital, Norbulingka Park. (B)
Your guide will take you visit Jokhang Temple, Tibetan Carpet Factory and Tibetan Traditional Hospital. Afterwards you will visit Norbulingka Park. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Accommodation：Lhasa Economic / Comfortable Standard Hotel (Twin sharing)

Day3  Lhasa Sightseeing Sera Monastery, Potala Palace. (B)
Today you will visit the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan Family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Accommodation：Lhasa Economic / Comfortable Standard Hotel (Twin sharing) Sera Monastery

Day4  Lhasa / Train Drive to the railway station. (B)
This morning you will be driven to the railway station to take your train to Xining. You will spend a whole day and night on the train. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the stunningly beautiful scenery on the way: not only rivers, lakes, grasslands and forests, but also the Jokul. Some of the famous charming sights along the railway are Yangpachen, Nyainqentanglha Range, Tuotuo Rivers, Kekexili, Kunlun and Tanggula mountain ranges...

Accommodation：On the train

Day5  Train / Xining Qinghai Lake.
You will be picked up at the railway station. After lunch you will visit the Qinghai Lake. Then you will be taken to your hotel for rest.

Accommodation：Xining Economic / Comfortable Standard Hotel (Twin sharing)

Day6  Depart from Xining Drive to the airport & See you off. (B)
In the morning, you will be taken to visit Ta'er Monastery. After that, you will be driven to the airport for your next destination.

Additional Info

Alterations of Itineraries

The travel date, service items, itinerary and number of visitors, visitors’ ID information, etc. can be modified free of charge 30 days or more before the trip. If the visitor needs to make a second modification, an additional service fee of 5% of the deposit will be charged. Every time the content of the travel contract is modified, the company reserves the right to re-quote.

Cancellation Policy

Once the deposit is paid, your trip is confirmed. If you need to change or cancel your itinerary, please contact your travel consultant by email, phone, instant messenger, etc. There will be a charge for Cancellation or modification. The policy is as follows：

1. Notice of trip cancellation due to personal reasons before the trip starts
Cancellation 30 days or more before the trip starts, 10% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 29-15 days before the trip starts, 20% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 14-7 days before the trip starts, 30% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 6-2 days before the trip starts, 50% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to the trip starts, no refund of your deposit.

2. Trip cancellation due to irresistible factors before the trip starts

If you have to cancel the itinerary due to irresistible reasons such as traffic, weather, politics, etc., the deposit will be fully refunded by the company (for loss related to air ticket/train ticket, please take reference of the first item).

Wonderful moments in Tibet thanks to Odyssey Travel. It was all so well organized thanks to Amy who had been so professional and supportive.

The beauty of landscapes and people in Tibet were simply mesmerizing. Our guide and driver were amazing companions for this travel. The Kora of Mount Khalash was the highlight of this wonderful journey. I learned a lot about the culture of Tibet.

The trip is very satisfied overall, just a few things to watch. There are too many monasteries. I am not quite a fan of religion. The hotel air conditioner didn’t work well and the hot water went wrong some times. Wish the hotel condition could be better in the near future.

With the accompaniment of our experienced driver and guide-Lomsang. I forgot the name of our driver. Terribly sorry. He did a great job. Our guide is fluent in English, we had no problem in communicating. He made us laugh during the long drive and took care of my daughter. We had altitude sickness when we were at the tent of Everest Base Camp, he didn’t sleep well also in order to look after us. He also explained tibetan culture clearly which I find it pretty interesting. We would like to thank him for making our trip in tibet extraordinary. We were lucky to book a tour with Tibet odyssey tours.

Thanks for Tibet odyssey. Me and my friend had an unforgettable and amazing 9 days tour in Tibet in June 2019. During those 9days, our tour guide Ms Gao hong were really responsible, helpful and reliable, he arranged all of the schedule and help us to go through every single day smoothly, safely and comfortable, even when we in the highest place where is altitude 5200m, we didn’t feel any afraid and fearful.
